Dave Gough B Sc (Forestry) FIFA, FIWSc, MACFA Dave has thirty-eight years experience covering both forestry and forest products. For many years he was Manager of Timber Research for Queensland Forestry and he has also had a number of overseas postings, addressing capacity building, institutional development and the development of strategic plans for sustainable forestry and for the timber industry. As the leader of a Hardwood Plantations Task Force for Qld Forestry, he became deeply involved in all aspects of forest plantation projects for North and Central Queensland. David's comprehensive knowledge of timbers of the world, timber processing, application and marketing has ensured long lasting outcomes for the projects he has undertaken.
